Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg announced that the world´s largest social network will soon include a new dating service. "This is going to be for building real, long-term relationships, not just hook-ups," Zuckerberg said as he unveiled the plans at Facebook´s annual developers conference. Zuckerberg said the new dating feature was built from the ground-up with privacy and safety in mind -- as the social network reels from the revelation of a mass breach involving the personal data of tens of millions of its users. "People already use Facebook to meet new people, and we want to make that experience better," the California-based titan said in a statement. A bend in Europa’s magnetic field observed by NASA’s Galileo spacecraft during a 1997 flyby appears to have been caused by a geyser gushing through its frozen crust from a subsurface ocean, researchers who reexamined the Galileo data reported on Monday. Galileo was passing some 124 miles (200 kilometers) above Europa’s surface when it apparently flew through the plume. “We know that Europa has a lot of the ingredients necessary for life, certainly for life as we know it. Messaging service WhatsApp rolled out new group-chat features on Tuesday, including more controls for administrators as well as regular group members. Users can now leave a group permanently to avoid being repeatedly added back after they have left, Facebook Inc-owned WhatsApp said in a blog post. Administrators can no longer be removed from a group they created and users can now quickly locate messages that mention them in a group conversation. Groups on WhatsApp have taken a central role in the messaging service that has more than 1 billion users, helping connect people with similar interests across the globe.

                       A pair of American astronauts began a spacewalk outside the International Space Station Wednesday to swap and check on two external cooling boxes, nicknamed "Leaky" and "Frosty," NASA said. The boxes, each about the size of a mini-refrigerator or window AC unit, are crucial to keeping the batteries aboard the orbiting lab cool. Since they operate using highly toxic ammonia, the spacewalkers must take utmost care not to get any on their suits. Known formally as pump flow control subassembly boxes, they are both considered spares, and will not interfere with cooling at the station while the work is under way. "The purpose of the pump flow control subassembly is all about the cooling batteries that the space station holds its electrical power in," explained Anthony Vareha, a flight director at NASA. YouTube is launching a revamped, standalone streaming music service as part of an effort to step up competition against fast-growing rivals like Spotify and Apple Music. The new YouTube Music is set to launch next week in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and South Korea, with more markets coming online soon. The move enables the Google-owned service to separate its paid, premium video plan from the music service, offering a variety of free and paid options.
