WhatsApp users will now be able to make group video and voice calls, the online messaging app announced via its blog on Monday.

"We're excited to announce that group calls for voice and video are coming to WhatsApp starting today," the organisation said.

"You can make a group call with up to four people total — anytime and anywhere. Just start a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new 'add participant' button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call," WhatsApp explained.

The calls are end-to-end encrypted and the feature will be available to Android and iOS users, it added.

Google Maps newly-launched feature helps reduce carbon emissions in cities

Google Maps has rolled out a new feature that now enables the users to access the carbon footprint of all of a city’s buildings – and the carbon print of all the car trips, bus and subway rides. Named ‘The Environmental Insights Explorer’, an online tool introduced on Monday, is designed to help cities identify and come up with a plan to reduce emissions, looking at their carbon footprint. By using this new feature, more than 9000 cities can actually benefit, who have initiated projects to cut emissions after signing the Paris Agreement. TikTok under probe in UK over safety concerns of underage users

The video-sharing mobile application TikTok that has the youth of the world engulfed, is presently under investigation in the United Kingdom over its handling of personal data of the underage users as well as their safety. As per a report by the Guardian, information commissioner Elizabeth Denham informed a parliamentary committee that the inquiry had initiated earlier this year in February. She added that the US Federal Trade Commission levied a $5.7 million fine against TikTok for breaching the law of children’s privacy. “We are looking at the transparency tools for children.
